Each enteric coated tablet contains the extract of fresh Aesculus hippocastanum (Horse Chestnut). Also contains microcrystalline cellulose, maize starch, colloidal silica. Soya polysaccharide, polymethacrylates, talc and triethyl citrate. Each tablet contains 157.5-225mg of extract (as dry extract) from fresh horse chestnut seed (aesculus hippocastanum L. semen) corresponding to 50mg triterpene glycosides, calculated as anhydrous B-aescin. Extraction solvent: Ethanol 50% m/m.
The other ingredients used are: microcrystalline silica, maize starch, colloidal silica and soya polysacchride. The tablet coating contains methacrylic acid - ethyl acrylate copolymer 1:1 dispersion 30 per cent, methacrylic - ethyl methacrylate copolymer (1:1), talc and triethyl citrate.
Typical Dose (if available) :Adults: 1 tablet 2 times daily, taken immediately after food. These tablets should be swallowed whole with a small glass of water.
Children: This product is not recommended for children under 18.
Cautions and Contraindications : Not to be taken with aspirin or other anticoagulant drugs. Contains soya polysaccharide. Do not use if allergic to peanut or soya. Please seek medical advice if pregnant.
