    Thursday Evening Talks

    Natural Health using Acupressure Techniques This course will introduce you to some simple acupressure points and combinations to treat conditions such as headaches, digestive problems and anxiety. It will involve the use of acupressure techniques and learn how these can be used to treat yourself or others. Course tutors are acupuncturist Francesca Howell MBAcC and shiatsu practitioner John Williamson MRSS.Date:Thursday 1st April 2010

    HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE - How herbal medicine can help. This talk will provide you with knowledge on the subject with ideas for herbs to take and diet and lifestyle changes you can make to help lower high blood pressure. It will also give you the information needed so you can decide whether you want to self-help or see a medical herbalist.Date:Thursday 6th May

    Facial Revitalisation Acupuncture An evening about facial revitalisation acupuncture.     Classes and Workshops

    Make Your Own Natural Skincare.During this workshop you will learn the basics required to make your own ointments, gels and creams. You will learn about the different ingredients, their properties and their uses. You will also discuss the best ways to make products and mistakes to avoid. The workshop is the perfect opportunity to try a variety of different techniques and recipes. At the end of the day you will take home a wide range of products made on the day.     Indian Head MassageLearn the theory and practice of Indian Head Massage. After the course you will be able to give friends or family a relaxing Indian Head Massage. Course tutor: Barney Green.Date:Sunday 6th June 2010

    Massage for Friends and FamilyLearn the basic principles and techniques required to give an effective massage. This class will include how to use furniture at home (chairs, cushions, floor) rather than investing in a massage couch.Date:Sunday 7th March 2010

    Cost: £30 (£10 deposit)
    Massage for labour and pregnancyDesigned for pregnant women and their partners / birth partners. Learn basic massage techniques including positioning and the use of oils. Taught by Anna Hill and experienced pregnancy massage therapist and medical herbalist.Date:Classes will be arranged once enough people register for a course.
