Fixed Oils

All fixed oils are extracted directly from the plant (normally the seed or nut). We supply cold pressed oil which are normally higher quality than those extracted using heat. Different oils can be mixed together to form a blend.

Infused Oils

Infused oils are made by placing herbs in a carrier oil for a period of time (normally for a few weeks) and then straining off the herb. The oil takes on some of the properties of the herb. They may be used neat on small areas of skin, or diluted in a carrier oil to cover larger areas.

A nourishing oil with little or no scent. It is a good source of vitamins, including the B vitamins and vitamin E, and minerals. It is the most common carrier oil used.

A very popular light, scentless carrier oil. It is less nourishing than Sweet Almond Oil, however it contains linoleic acid, which strengthens the membranes of the skin.

Perfect for moisturising both hands and body. Coconut oil is light and easily absorbed into the skin.

A liquid wax, which has similar properties to sebum (the skin's natural moisturiser). It is most commonly used in facial products (both for oily and dry skin) where it balances excess sebum and moisturises dry skin. It helps to unblock pores and promote a healthy, glowing complexion.
