Tessa Winstanley MNIMH BSc (Hons) ITEC Dip, practices Herbal Medicine, Aromatherapy and Therapeutic Massage at Woodland Herbs in Glasgow on a Tuesday morning and afternoon, and a Thursday morning.
Tessa has always enjoyed working with people and has extensive experience of working in this with a huge range of different people. Her passion for herbal medicine began in her teens whilst working at a well established herbal medicine clinic in Edinburgh. After a few years, Tessa moved to Glasgow to study herbal medicine at the Scottish School of Herbal Medicine. The herbal medicine degree and the aromatherapy and therapeutic massage diploma are demanding courses to obtain a high level of professional training.
Tessa says "I believe herbal medicine could benefit many more people than it does at the moment. As more people learn about the benefits of herbal medicine I think it will become a mainstream choice, especially when used by a qualified medical herbalist prescribes appropriate herbal medicine on its own or alongside conventional medicine."
