 | Trevor Chisman ITEC, VTCT, MIPTI I first became interested in fitness and health in 1988, at the time I was involved in cycling and worked out at the local gym. This lead to me becoming a qualified fitness instructor with free weights with the NABBA (National Amature BodyBuilding Association).
My interests widened to encompass many more aspects of health and in 1993 I trained in Holistic Massage, Anatomy and Physiology with ITEC at The Beaumont College of Natural Medicine. In 2006, I had the opportunity to train in Sports Massage Therapy with VTCT at St Mary's College Twickenham.
I am continually studying to further my knowledge and understanding of the human body and to learn new skills. |
| Trevor explains "Sports massage is a no-nonsense massage technique that deals directly with the body’s soft tissue. It has developed over the years to deal with the specific conditions that the human body experiences before and after being ‘pushed to the max’. I use such techniques as MET (muscle energy technique), STR (soft tissue release) and NMT (neuromuscular technique)." |
| Trevor works at Woodland Herbs every Monday, Tuesday morning, Wednesday evening and Saturday. |
