How to use resin (incense). Most often resins are burnt on charcoal blocks (on heat proof dish), however they may also be burnt on embers from an open fire or wood burning stove (again on a heat proof dish/stone). One other option is to use a candle powered oil burner. Line the dish with aluminium foil as the resin will leave a sticky residue.
