Fixed (or base) Oils and Infused Oils

Fixed Oils

All fixed oils are extracted directly from the plant (normally the seed or nut). We supply cold pressed oil which are normally higher quality than those extracted using heat. Different oils can be mixed together to form a blend. They are often used during some of the more popular massage therapies

Infused Oils

Infused oils are made by placing herbs in a carrier oil for a period of time (normally for a few weeks) and then straining off the herb. The oil takes on some of the properties of the herb. They may be used neat on small areas of skin, or diluted in a carrier oil to cover larger areas.
