Barney Green

Barney Green began practicing massage in 1997 and has worked with private clients, therapy centres and within the NHS. His training has been based both in London and Thailand and he has taught introductory courses in complementary therapies at City and Islington College and the City L.I.T., both in London. He moved to Glasgow in 2004.

He now has a busy practice in Glasgow, offering deep tissue massage, aromatherapy massage, reflexology, reiki and thai yoga massage.

Woodlands staff are always utterly professional, welcoming and friendly. I booked a massage at very short notice for the next day and was promptly accommodated. Barney is quite simply the most awesome massage therapist I have ever had the pleasure of being treated by. He has an intuitive understanding of where the pain and problem areas are and has the skill and techniques to remedy them.

As I often feed back the massage makes me aware of areas of tension in my body and some areas can be painful but overall the massage helps me to feel better and more relaxed and supple

I went in with a really sore back, after not warming up properly before exercise. I came out with the pain relieved and the tightness unlocked. Barney’s really good at finding and working on the niggly bits.

Although some of the treatment felt uncomfortable because of tension areas in areas of my body I feel very relaxed afterwards and I always enjoy talking about other therapies and some self help techniques. I have found seeing Barney very helpful

I would highly recommend getting a massage from Barney, I came to him with a lower back issue, and he made me a hot water bottle to relax my muscles which was a really nice touch. He managed to relieve my pain and finished the massage with a head realignment which was incredible. Thank you Barney!
