Sasha is a complementary therapist utilising predominantly Swedish massage techniques, training at the Western School of Massage in Glasgow. This type of massage involves long, flowing strokes and motions like kneading, rhythmic tapping, and rolling to loosen tight muscles and improve local circulation. Targeted cross-fiber movements are also used to break down adhesions and release tension gathered at knots. Such techniques blend light and deep pressure to help alleviate pain and improve flexibility with the ability to energise the body and immune system, whilst also balancing the nervous system. Swedish massage can help relieve back and neck pain, reduce muscle tension pre and post training and improve sleep quality.
Beyond massage, Sasha has studied Human Biology and Nutrition to Masters level, and currently also works as a qualified Dietitian for the NHS. Her valuable expertise provides a unique and detailed knowledge of human physiology, nutrition and anatomy, which contributes to a personalised, whole body approach to treatments. Sasha is also a member of the Scottish Massage Therapists Organisation.
